lalalalala hey! just came back from camp yest. so tired. became chao da already man. under the sun for almost everyday. hmmm. i really did not expect this camp to turn out like this. thought there will be another guest speaker and more workshops. it turned out to be a camp in which there were many games and stuff which zapped all your energy.many games that could make you go mad. oh well. guess i somehow miss the camp. all the people there, rather fun to mix with. new friends made, new games played, new experience, new everything. somehow felt weird talking to other people outside camp when i left for home yesterday. felt that almost everyone in the camp were rather bonded together. how i wish it was one more day longer. hmmm. praying hard my focus on God will not become blurer as the days go by after the camp. oh well. now its back to business, orientation 2006.
really must thank annabel for writing the letter for me and tristan to excuse us from school to go for the camp. without her, we would not be able to make it for the camp. still, all the glory should go to God, who made a way for us. praise God. thoughout the camp, i came across quite a number of songs that had lyrics that touched my heart some way or another. oh well. what's more to say.
this song came back to my memory this morning during worship time in church. we have not sung it for a very long time already and oh my gosh it came out to be a very powerful song to me. i just felt my heart feeling lighter at that point in time and what a song. it is so powerful and so real to me. and that song is
how could i live without you. sermon turned out to be on worshipping the king. how relevant to my church. oh well. thanks pastor B. =)
how could i live without you,how could i survive, without your love, without your touch.you're the one that heals me, that cleanses my heart, that sets me free.now i come right before you with my hands lifted up,and i come humbly bowed at your work at the cross.as you hung there and died, you were paying the price for my life, for my lifefor your love is higher than the heavens, deeper than the sea,and all i want is you in my life.no one else can satisfy my soul, make me feel this way, only you Lord, only you.

it seemed like a long day today. everything passed so slowly. don't know why. maybe because its a Friday? looking forward to the weekends. although still having the orientation in my mind, as well as my studies.
TODAY IS THE OFFICIAL DAY I END PROJECT WORK!!! am I happy or what. finally those disturbance to my studies are gone (after soooo long). everyone shd be glad. (the present J1s I mean) haha. went back to school today just to pass my minutes to my tutor to put inside the group project file. what a waste of time. met my classmate and we went to have macs breakfast after tt. had a good talk with him. abt everything tt is. had tuition later in the afternoon. haha.
the day for one camp is approaching very quickly and yet I still do not have the excuse to be away from school to go for this camp. if you're in my shoes you'll know how frustrating it is, having lessons next week and going through all the trouble to get a valid reason to be excused from school on those 3 days. its not like I got nothing else to do. oh well... still trusting that God will prepare a way for me and Tristan to go for this camp. saw the schedule and everything and I feel that it is going to be rather fun, since the theme is FUN one. oh well. looking forward to it. hope it will go on smoothly for me and Tristan.
MRS CHEAH PLEASE LET US GO!

having more problems lately. my project work is going crazy. one of my group members might not want to come on tt day itself for presentation! oh well. dunno wad i shd do abt this. furthermore, we still have our video to shoot. tomorrow is the day! how on earth are we going to get our video done? oh man. we're dead. have to prepare right now. nervous. afraid. helpless. all these are what i'm feeling right now. my group will just die on the spot lar. no one cares. next up is orientation. all the deadlines are so tight. still, i hope all the councillors are doing their part in this orientation. this way we then can move forward.
last. WHY DOES INNOVA JUNIOR COLLEGE HAVE LESSONS TILL 18TH NOVEMBER!!??!?? WHY CAN'T THEY BE LIKE EVERY SINGLE SECONDARY SCHOOL AND JUNIOR COLLEGE, ENDING ON 28TH OCTOBER???? WHY??
this thing is bugging me right now. i have a camp on the LAST 3 DAYS OF SCHOOL! and supposedly we are not suppose to skip school to go for the camp. we have tried many ways to go for the camp but until now there is no one great idea that we can use to excuse us from school on those 3 days. well, the only realistic way now is to pray and ask for God's direction. if it is His will to let us go for the camp then He WILL provide a way for us. we will just have to wait. what can I do now, except to pray for a way.

persecution. that's what i learnt during my BS last night. right now we are in such a comfortable country where we get to enjoy the freedom of religion beliefs. its rather tough to encounter with persecutions that Paul has received. still, we should understand that persecution is part and parcel of a Christian's life. if one has not encountered with one, it might mean 2 things: either he really has not encountered, or he has been doing all sorts of stuff to get out of the situation of being persecuted. which led me thinking. what does persecution consist of? physical torture? or verbal torture? in singapore, physical torture is not very common. so it goes down to verbal. most of the time ppl tend to speak ill of you because you are a Christian. i myself have experienced that in my own school though. non-christians will say things like: he cant join us, his God will not like. and other stuff. wel its hard to take in such stuff but i'm sure its a testing time for me though.
what IF the government in Singapore decides to shut down all churches and ban all worship activities or even gathering? what will you do? will ur faith in God still remain? this is the question that struck me yesterday. i really cannot imagine it. well, for me i really do not know how to answer now. it is easy to say though, but later find it tough to do what you say. well well. it will be tough to get used to it but all ihave to say is that God is still there and everywhere no matter what. oh well.. leave it with this question then. =)
time flies. today is already the 5th of November. 4 more days to OP. and everything will become bright for me once again. the dark clouds of project work will be blown away! 1 year passed so fast. next year A levels already. oh no. die... oh well... ttz why now must start studying! =) all J1s oso better start studying ok!!!

now is tough time for me. planning for orientation is on my mind. to add to that, there's oral presentation next week. finally, thinking of some way to go for one camp and not go to school for lessons. all these are just killing me now. oh well. wad can i do? except to pray.
1 more week before pw is officially over. wuahaha! looking forward to tt week! oh man. finally! all the torture and stuff. going to be over! oh well. have been busy these few days. orientation is the thing that i'm more concern for. and also my pcm have a mission trip to myanmar on 23rd dec. i just cant find time to go for that and even if i cld, i dun think i have the right heart to go either. its really bugging me now coz my parents are kind of "forcing" me to go for this. i dun understand why. shdn't a mission trip be something volunteering? its up to each person's decision wad right? i really dunno what i shd do or how i shd approach them regarding this issue. i know that we all are suppose to follow what Jesus has commanded us to do, but i feel that i have not done anything locally and i have to go abroad to do tt? i fel its not right though. although this is not the main issue i'm concerned. i'm really stuck with this now. i really do not feel like going for one for now. haiz. what would be a forced mission trip look like? ttz the question.
