Had Bible Study tonight and Eric came to join at the last part. Well, we did on Daniel 7. Tough chapter but tells us alot.
Think about it. God has given all of us a place called Earth. In Earth, there are 2 things that will control us in some sense: time and space. These are God-given. So let's look at heaven, a place also made by God. Think again. Will God create heaven where time and space controls Him? Of course not! So we can see that heaven is timeless and spaceless, which brings to the next point. If heaven is timeless, we are already considered in heaven right now! Agree? Let's say my good friend is Jeremy. If I die today and go up to heaven, do you think I'll see Jeremy up there? Amazing eh? Another thing. We all go to heaven only if we believe that Christ is saviour to you and all. When we go there, what we're doing is to build a 2nd earth, one that was desired by God in the 1st place, perfect earth. Remember, heaven is a place which is timeless and spaceless. So how do you think the 2nd Earth will be built? Hmmm.
One question you should ask yourself. Do you want judgement day to come earlier or later? 2 ways to reach the day of judgement: 1.die now. 2. where every race has heard of the gospel, which leads to the 2nd coming of Christ. =)
Heaven is such a wonderful place. Don't you want to miss out the chance of being there too?
*All these are said by Eric, but I believe that it's true. =)*

Subway {9:46 PM}

Would you believe someone who said that he/she hasn't eaten food in subway before? Is it very hard to believe? You better do, cause I'm one of them. Ha! Only until the day 10 Sep 2006, when I 1st opened my mouth and munched onto the thick bread filled with a variety of ingredients. This brings me to remember what my friend once told me, something that really made me laugh.
*Imagine you walking into a subway restaurant anywhere in the world. Upon entering, you see a long queue, and one by one people start streaming out of the restaurant with pissed off faces. You went in to take your order. "Sorry Sir, we have run out of bread. Would you like to have an alternative?" Shocked, you think, is there an alternative to bread? Just quickly go order more bread la! "Sorry Sir, it will take a few hours for the bread to be delivered." Just like the other customers, you stormed out.*
A Radical Change {12:34 AM}
Monday, September 11, 2006
The motivation of wanting to change for someone else, a positive change. Indeed, not the change for the human that you love, but for Jesus Christ. After recently attending the Young Methodist Leader's Conference, I just felt moved to cause myself to undergo a radical change for God. I know it's tough. No one said it wasn't tough in the first place. I'm quite sure this event has caused me to grow much deeper in Christ, but we should not just depend on these kind of things to draw yourself closer to God. Requirement would be to do it yourself. That way, intimacy with God will be achieved.
I've found myself really useless and hopeless for the past year, due to my lack in the resting on the Lord. It was only during this conference that something really struck me. We all know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins. If we watch "The Passion of the Christ" we'll understand it better. But have we really thought about it in a more personal way? Many people, me included, are guilty of taking for granted the gift of God when He sent Jesus to die for our sins. Yes it is difficult to identify with Christ because we have not yet die, but do we acknowledge the effort of God, his perfect will for us all? Do we really see the significance of the cross? Do we understand the significance of the cross?
It is because of this that I felt so comfortable in the presence of the Lord during the past few days. If one would just focus and think about what God has done for oneself and for the world, one will just stand in awe of Him, filled with thanksgiving and humble oneself to look up to Him. This is just how you will feel if the Spirit is moving in you.
I just cannot forget the importance of the cross and the wonderful thing God has done for all of us. I have been listening to the song "At the Cross" by Darlene Zschech. This is one song that really touched my heart, moved me to cry out to God.
A radical change for God. That's what we all need if we're not right with our relationship with Him. Change or face the consequences. I want to change. Do you?
