Its always more blessed to give than to receive. Its such a wonderful verse and yet many of us prefer not to exercise it. I wonder why.

As we go through our life adventures and trials, we need someone by our side to give us some attention, to give us some encouragement, to give us desire to carry on. But do we give these things to others as well? Its always a question of do we give? As I look back, I'm really thankful that I've received many wonderful things, notably a gift of time given by another. I guess its the best gift we all can give if nothing else comes to mind.

We always want to receive, but we always forget that God gave us 1st. Without Him giving, we wouldn't be here today! God teaches us to give, hence we are to give, cause it will benefit the other party, just like how God gave us Jesus and we benefitted. Hence, the question we really have to ask ourselves is, what is our deepest desire? To give and see others happy? Or to receive and only see yourself happy? (And also maybe the giving party)
